Different advertisements are meant to be different. Looking at gendered advertisements, you can say that there is a difference. There are different advertisements for different genders. Women will have the ones that pertains to them, and the men is going to have the ones that is meant for them. But with advertisements, there is a purpose behind it. The purpose behind the advertisement is purchase. It is all about spending money and companies gaining profit from the ones that buy their product or whatever they are trying to sell you.
A time in my life where i was swayed away by the gendered advertisement is when i seen the jersey on TV and it was an advertisement . This was an original NBA jersey which was Kobe Bryant. At the time, this is when (Kobe) Bryant and the Los Angels Lakers won the NBA championship. I had to buy it because it was a time where i watched the entire basketball playoffs. I really like Kobe Bryant as a player and I just had to have one.
Things are pretty expensive when it comes to buying them. Even when advertised, there is a lump sum of cash that is put into that advertisement so therefore you will have to pay for it as well. Specific advertisements are for different people.
